Babak Tubis is a German politician and member of the federal board (Beisitzer) of the Piratenpartei Deutschland, committed to digital civil liberties, individual freedom, and inclusive participation. With over 16 years of involvement in the party, he focuses on strengthening the Piratenpartei institutionally and advocating for a society that balances personal freedom with social cohesion. Marie Ishimwe Kresbach is a Rwandan‑born author and survivor of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. She grew up in Rwandan and lost many family members in the violence before escaping to Germany, where she later settled with her family. Kresbach’s life story of survival, faith, and resilience is recounted in her book “Steh auf, mein Kind, und geh!” – a powerful testimony to overcoming trauma and finding freedom and forgiveness after unimaginable hardship.

Dietmar Pichler is a freelance media literacy trainer and disinformation analyst from Vienna, Austria.
