Alexander Isavnin

Alexander studied mathematics at Moscow State University. He started working with the Internet in the 90s, later working in Internet providers, he was responsible for establishing inter-operator relations and communication with law enforcement agencies.
Alexander now works at the informal Free Moscow University, teaching Internet governance and researching Internet infrastructure and rules, collaborating with Internet rights and freedom NGOs. Alexander speaks openly on the issues of freedom of the Russian Internet, as well as on issues of electronic voting in Russia.

Alexander is a member of the Council of the Russian Pirate Party.
