Schoresch Davoodi is a political analyst specializing in foreign policy, European affairs, geopolitical developments in the Middle East, authoritarian regimes, information warfare, digital rights, and democratic resilience. He studied Political Science and History at the Ruhr University Bochum and has contributed publications on international security and regional dynamics, including early work for the European Peace University (EPU) in Stadtschlaining, Austria. Currently, he serves as an alternate board member of Pirate Parties International (PPI), European Policy Officer (Themenbeauftragter Europapolitik) for the German Pirate Party, and an active member of its Foreign Policy Working Group (AG Außenpolitik). His analyses frequently examine the intersections of geopolitics, disinformation, hybrid threats, and societal maturity in the face of global disruptions. Mr. Davoodi has been a recurring speaker at the Pirate Security Conference since 2018, delivering presentations on topics such as the situation in the Middle East and Iran (PSC19), “Making A Revolution” amid Iran’s protests (2023), information warfare in the context of the Ukraine conflict, troll management and influence operations (with Alexander Kohler) at the Zukunftsforum Dresden (2024), and Fortress Europe migration/security dynamics.
